My Paper Pumpkin Alternative Project

alternative project for May 2015 My Paper Pumpkin

I love the My Paper Pumpkin kits that I subscribe to. Yes, I did say kits as in more than one! I actually have 6 kits arrive at my doorstep each month. 4 are meant for my daughters allowing us some girl time together and the remaining 2 kits are for me to play with. When I first opened my special orange box and saw the gift bags that were in the kit, I knew that I needed to make a banner with the second kit. The only additional materials that I used to create this project were White Baker’s Twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and the 1/8″ circle punch.

The newest My Paper Pumpkin

Posted May 23, 2015 By Becky Tuttle

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted … let’s just say, way too long!
I received the newest My Paper Pumpkin kit the other day and decided to work on it. Fortunately I receive more than one kit so I have extra materials to experiment and play with! I purchase a kit for each of my daughters but unfortunately daughter #2, Jesa, lives in southern California so we don’t get together often enough to play with our Pumpkin kits together. I finally decided that I needed to start working on her kits and gosh, why not do this newest kit. I’ll put it together and then send her a surprise package.
Here it is, this is the 2015 May My Paper Pumpkin!

October My Paper Pumpkin Kit

This last Friday night I had the pleasure of having all of my daughters in town and we gathered together for a girl’s night. I brought out the My Paper Pumpkin Kits that arrived in the mail that day and we spent some  time creating together. An evening of laughter, discussion, inky fingers, and big smiles brought us all so much enjoyment. At the end of the creative splurge we had completed a cute little project that each of us could use. One of my daughters lives in southern California and this was the first time she was able to join us for this “Girls Night.” Not being a stamper or paper crafter … even she had a good time and did a great job!

I have been subscribing to the MPP since it first began. I get 5 kits each month so the girls and I can have a fun time together. Since this was the first time this daughter was able to join  us I told her that she will be busy when she comes for the holidays … she has a lot of kits to complete and catch up to us!

Every month the My Paper Pumpkin kit is different. Sometimes  there are cards, maybe a journal or scrapbook,  possibly a decoration to make. Sometimes the kits just seem so simple to me because I am a seasoned stamper and paper crafter. But I always have the option to step it up and make it different then what the directions say to do. But this doesn’t bother me. My purpose for the kits are to use them and spend some quality time with girls. So, that would be the Kodak commercial … “Priceless!”

If you would like to know more about My Paper Pumpkin please send me an email ( and I will be happy to respond.

Happy Stamping!
