Stampin’UP! announces a new product: Envelope Punch Board

Posted August 15, 2013 By Becky Tuttle

This new product will be available for customers to order beginning September 1st. How I wish I could show you a picture of the punch board, I am not allowed to do that until it is available for sale … but I can tell you about it!

  • It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
  • It’s super easy to use; It looks intimidating at first glance, but all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score!
  • It’s small and lightweight; this makes it easy for you. It’s super portable and easy to store. It’s small and light enough that you could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend’s for craft night-anywhere.
  • It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
  • It’s easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!).
  • The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much!

It will be in next year’s annual catalog, so it’s here to stay.

I have this item on my “Need to buy” list! This year’s holiday cards will also have handmade envelopes to make them even more festive when they travel through the mail. Would you like to host a home party workshop and have this new tool featured to share with your friends and family? If so, leave a comment below and I will contact you to schedule.

Enjoy your day and happy stamping!

Stampin’UP! Timeless Talk, such a fun stamp set!

Posted August 13, 2013 By Becky Tuttle

I pulled out a new stamp set and decided to play some with it. I love this set. It is going to be perfect for those masculine cards that are needed but today I gave it the feminine flair. I saw a card sample similar to this and apologize because I can’t remember where or who the original card was from. I did some of my own little changes to it … colors, embossing  folder, but basically the design is the same. Just a really fun and easy card to make.

Just a little something to send to someone who I have not spoken with for awhile. I know she will love it!

Stamp Set: Timeless Talk

Card Stock: Pool Party, Whisper White, Crumb Cake

DSP: Epic Day This and That (sample uses back side, should have been blue print)

Ink: Stazon Black

Other: Big Shot, Stylish Stripes EF, Delicate Designs EF, Window Frames Framelit, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Card Base: Pool Party CS 8 ½ x 5 ½

Card Front: Whisper White CS 5 ¼ x 4, ½ x 2 ¼, scrap for stamping image, Crumb Cake 3 ½ x 3, DSP ½ x 5 ¼.

  • Using the Big Shot and the Delicate Designs EF emboss the Whisper White CS along the bottom edge in the landscape position. This will leave a distinct line on the CS along the edge of the embossing folder. Run the CS through the Big Shot a second time using the Stylish Stripes EF aligning it with the line from the first folder (this will be covered by the DSP so don’t worry if it is not completely straight or if there is a space between them)
  • Using the Big Shot and the 3rd framelit cut the shape from the Crumb Cake CS. Trim even with the bottom corners of the shape’s design.
  • With Black Stazon stamp the image on a piece of scrap Whisper White CS and the sentiment on the smaller piece of WW.
  • Fussy cut the image, using paper snips cut flag tails in the end of the sentiment strip.
  • Attach the embossed CS to the base of the card using glue dots.
  • Using both glue dots and some adhesive attach the Window Frame shape to the WW lining it along the pattern line between the 2 embossings.
  • Using adhesive attach the DSP.
  • Determine the placement of the image and then the placement of the flag. Attach the sentiment flag using adhesive. Attach the image with Dimensionals.

Insert: Whisper White 5 ¼ x 4. I used the Adorning Accents Edgelits to trim a decorative edging on the insert and then attached with adhesive.

To purchase the needed supplies to make this card can be done through my on-line store at
